Your child may be exposed to predators online, when with a group of friends, or when they leave the home. But if your kids know the signs of recruitment, they will be able to take action before they or their friend falls victim. Our goal is to give you the necessary tools to help keep them safe.
Each year in the USA, FBI field offices join with Child Exploitation Task Forces throughout the country composed of hundreds of law enforcement agencies for Operation Cross Country. This great work is a series of enforcement actions targeted at predators who force children into prostitution. Their results reveal that domestic minor sex trafficking is an emerging crime happening in communities throughout the country and frequently the victim is middle school or high school age. You may be asking: Can it happen in my neighborhood? Could this happen to someone I know? What should I be looking for to know if my child is at risk?
