Description
Each year in the USA, FBI field offices join with Child Exploitation Task Forces throughout the country composed of hundreds of law enforcement agencies for Operation Cross Country. This great work is a series of enforcement actions targeted at predators who force children into prostitution. Their results reveal that domestic minor sex trafficking is an emerging crime happening in communities throughout the country and frequently the victim is middle school or high school age. You may be asking: Can it happen in my church school? Is this happening in our community? What should I be looking for to know if one of my students is at risk?
This free download package is for you to educate youth to understand predator tactics. It is designed as a plug-and-play tool in the classroom, or as a train the trainer so you are able to teach the material.

Peggy Schoenfuss, Catholic Diocese of Superior –
We have implemented a trafficking awareness curriculum in our diocese to accommodate our Bishop’s Charter for Safe and Sacred Places. In investigating what would be the best materials for middle school children we found that Chosen from Shared Hope International was the best produced and most impactful material for children of this age and their parents. Not only is the video done well, but all of the materials that accompany the DVD successfully assist both our catechist in our parish religious education programs and our school teachers to facilitate the discussion around this topic.
The cooperation and support from Shared Hope International in rolling out this program in our diocese has been fantastic. We couldn’t ask for better. We strongly recommend these materials to bring awareness about the horrific crime of trafficking.
